The Dzukou Valley is one of Nagaland’s most prized possessions. Its rolling verdant hills have evoked many a travel musings, and it is now ready to introduce some fun in the form of Dzukou Valley Festival. Beyond all the crowded touristy areas of northeast India, lies the unparalleled Dzukou Valley, which is a highlight for Nagaland Tourism. The Dzukou Valley Festival will be held in October 2018, and will be held over a period of seven days.
You can come to Nagaland’s Dzukou Valley for a seven-day long affair with music, dance, food, and drinks. It is home to the Angami tribe of Nagaland, and this is the first time that the Department of Tourism is planning to host a festival here. Even though numerous tourists come here every year, this is a chance for those who are unacquainted with the place to come and embark on a special journey.
One of the main attractions of this place is the wide range of flowers that bloom every season. So, those who are interested in nature walks and photography can have a great time. You can spend a day exploring the valley and meeting locals. The festival will have bonfires set up at night, and we assure you that the night sky is mostly magnificently lit up.
